Nick Falzone at Bit-tech has created the Chiaroscuro PC. Made of wood and inspired by the Beijing Digital building, this computer is a true thing of beauty. Absolutely amazing, in fact. The best thing: You can do one yourself.

Today, at their Search Event in Mountain View, Google demoed a brand new product set to launch in Google Labs: Google Goggles. Humorous name aside, the product looks to be a huge leap forward in the field of visual search — by which I mean, you point a camera at something and Google figures out what it is.
The example that Google VP of Engineering Vic Gundotra showed on stage involved taking a picture of a particular bottle of wine. When he ran it through Google Goggles, the result showed that the particular bottle has a hint of apricots. You also be able to use Goggles to look up things such as CD covers and bar codes (this is likely similar to the popular Android app ShopSavvy). For text, Google Goggles uses optical character recognition (OCR) to try and read things like labels to aid the search.
It seems as if this new functionality, which should be live in Google Labs soon, will be destined for Android phones at least at first.
El tutorial se ha realizado utilizando Mac OS X pero en Windows es exactamente igual, sólo cambia que en vez de usar Finder y MacHacha se usan el Explorador de Windows y Hacha.
Abriremos la carpeta que contiene los archivos del fichero de vídeo y, usando Hacha o MacHacha, los juntaremos en uno sólo.
Una vez unidas las partes se arrastrará el fichero hasta la ventana de iTunes:
El vídeo aparecerá dentro del apartado de Películas de iTunes con toda la información actualizada: Título, nº de capítulo, serie, etc.
Editaremos la información del vídeo y en la pestaña Opciones cambiaremos el Tipo de soporte de "Película" a "Programa de Televisión". Una vez pulsado el botón Ok se trasladará a la sección "Programas de Televisión" en la serie que corresponde.
Para activar los subtítulos durante la reproducción pulsaremos en el icono con el bocadillo de diálogo que está a la derecha del botón Avance rápido y seleccionaremos los subtítulos que nos interesen.
En el iPhone la activación de los subtítulos es exactamente igual, se hacen aparecer los controles de reproducción y se pulsa sobre el icono de texto seleccionando los subtítulos que interesen.
